I know after reading this blog, many people might wonder if it is mothers day, or my moms birthday! No, it isnt. I just had a thought today, that turned into a blog. The thought was " I love being a mother, a wife, a women!!" I was reading the Ensign, and it has great articles this month. The visiting teaching message is about Gender roles. I love the section that says
"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enogh women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind.... We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith."
A few weeks ago I had a class on womanhood! It was all about being a daughter of God! I love it!! I am so glad that my mother always taught me to know that i am a daughter of God. And being a daughter of God is trully different from just being a woman! I need to act as a daughter of God. We are special, unique, lovely!!
"(Women) wish to work side by side with righteous men to accomplish eternal goals that neither can attain independently."
I need my husband, he needs me!! I LOVE HIM!! There are enough women in this world who talk negatively about their husbands. It seems that when women get together it is more of , my husband did this bad thing, and can you believe my husband does this!! Why not say, "My husband does this GREAT thing!" "I married the most amazing man in the world!"
I trully did marry the most amazing man in the world!! I love him!!

Ruth! I was so happy to see this! I hope you are doing well. I never see you anymore, so I am excited to have a way to see what you're up too. By the way, I think we should go on a double sometime!
What a wonderful message. you are filled with righteous celebration much like Ammon coming home from his mission. Boasting in the Lord and his blessings upon him.
Thanks for being our daughter. I am going to make sure you wonderful mom reads this tonight.
