He makes a big impression!

Our little sweet boy was in an accident on Saturday and broke his femur! We were terrified when we saw his leg and the OBVIOUS break! We quickly rushed to the hospital (which was an hour away, we got there in about half an hour or less). We arrived safetly and there was nobody in the emergency room waiting. The nurse rushed us in and said "WOW there is an obviously factured femur." We waited for the orthopedic surgen to arrive for about 2 hours. A lot of wonderful family memebers came to support. Many tears were shed as we saw our sweet boy laying there on the bed.
The nurses would walk up to me and say, "how are you?" then they would notice my belly and say "OHHHH how ARE you??" They kept trying to keep me calm so i didnt go into labor. I did my best.
LIke I said there was ALOT of family there. They were sitting in the room while we were waiting a nurse walked in and said "All these people for just one little guy?" Then Grandma Huot said " Well, he makes a BIG impression!" You know, she is right! This little guy is one remarkable man.
The dr. showed up and all went well. They were not used to working on such a little guy, so they were limited with what equipment they had. For the rod in between his legs they used the handle of a plunger.
He has been home for about 2 days now and is doing WONDERFULY! Prayers are answered! So, thank you for praying! I have many people to thank, all our family and friends that helped. The doctors, nurses and others that worked with him, but mostly thank you to my husband. When i saw Karvers leg I FLIPPED, Jeremy put karver in the car seat and said "get in the car." When we were at the hospital I sat by Karver's side, Jeremy called family and friends and gave a priesthood blessing. When they hospital staff needed an extra hand I almost passed out, Jeremy was there to do anything they needed. When I got home and tried to sleep that night, I cried and cried as I replayed the situation in my head, Jeremy gave me a blessing of peace. I slept wonderfuly shortly there after. I have said to Jeremy many times since this accident "Honey, thank you for being so strong, so i can be weak!" and "Honey, thank you for being so calm so I can freak out!"
I love him and he is a wonderful husband and AMAZING father!
Also I must say thank you to Karver. Karver has been AMAZING. He has slept through the night both nights. Takes his YUCKY medicine, and the best of all, he smiles.
