We got to have Joy in our house this last week.. and by Joy I mean my niece!
We took a trip to D.I. and found this nifty .... Shirt??
I couldnt believe it was in the Womens section!
But believe it or not... it was a one size fits all.. and by "fits all" they mean newborn to the full grown!! hhahaha it was AWESOME!!!
One night we went to the skating rink in town. We were pretty much professional, or something like that!
We had so much fun! We watched movies, ate junk, went on walks, and just chilled!!
The day after Joy left, we started prepping for Kason's 1st b-day!
Our little boy is 1!! I didnt get pictures of the party, I was too busy partying! But here are a few pics that were taken on or around his bday!
and this is a very yummy... very not natural, CAKE!!!!
This was the back up cake just in case anybody didnt like chocolate, or if we didnt have enough of the first cake! .....
If you are wondering why it says "birthday pal" .. It is because we only had a few letters left! :) haha So this is what it ended up being! :)
We had soo much fun and hopefully I will find somebody in the family that actually took pictures of the event! A brief overview of what happened at the actaul party!
*Ate finger foods (because that is how kason eats all the time!)
*Had a watermelon eating contest! (Jeremy's dad Max won!!:)
*Answered questions about Kason and his 1st year!
*Opened presents from family and friends!! Thanks everybody!!
*Sang happy birthday in 3 langauges! (English, Chinese, and ASL)
*Watched Kason DIVE INTO his cake! :) There will be pics as soon as a find some!)
*Ate yummy cake!!!
*Played water games!!
mixed into those activities there was a little bit of sneak attack water dumping!! haha GOOD TIMES!!
Thanks to all those who came, and to those who couldnt, next year we will be expecting you! :)
P.S. the day after Kason's b-day is mine.. and my sister Heathers!
We celebrated by having a tin foil dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Hewys house.. these are the only pics I have surrounding that evening...
The pictures have no relations, and no connection to the birthday celebrations, besides the fact that they were taken on the same day! POOR KID! :(

man, it is birthday and party time at your house!!! It looks like you guys are having tons of fun up there! I am glad you and Joy had a blast, you two are sooo cute together, like two teenagers out on the town!

Soooo sorry that we weren't there. Your description reminded us of all of Karver's clever parties, especially the questions specifically about Kason.
