Around here

Well, my life has been hectic, alot like this post will be :) I hope you can follow a little bit along and enjoy at least the pictures. The fist picture is the only proof i have that we went to Pocatello for my good friend Diana Poe Rich's wedding. That was in the beginning of march :) I was a pregnant brides made and had lots of fun being pampered and spending some time with Jeremy away from the kids. I was so busy having fun I forgot to take pictures, but this is Jeremy having fun! :)

** Next random picture is Karver's new shoe... cute right, also very usable for SOCCER!! That is right folks I am officially old. My son will be playing soccer as of next week... soccer mom WHAT?!! He is soo excited and so are we!

Lets see, what is next in our random pictures?? Oh yes... Jeremy and I along with some other family took the Crozier bus to the color festival this year. If you have never heard of it then it is defiantly worth looking up.. This picture is the only proof that i was there! My favorite moment was when we were walking through the crowd and we were throwing colored chalk, getting colored chalk thrown at us, Jeremy said "This is defiantly the most insane thing I have ever done..." Let me remind you that Jeremy was in a demolition derby while we were dating. Tons of fun!

**Continuing our randomness... Today was a blustery day... or a blizzardy day. We got a good 3 or 4 inches of snow outside today... So, i thought to myself ..."self, I will not go outside today." So the boys and I have been having some fun adventures...Inside!

I told the boys we were going to try an experiment... and those must have been the right words because when i said that they started jumping up and down for joy! Here is a glimps of their excitement!

Our experiment consisted of 2 excited boys... 2 pans with a thin layer of baking soda, vinegar with food coloring... and one brave mom! :)

They LOVED IT!! The played for a good 30-45 min... ifyou know my boys that is a long time for them to sit and do anything!

Other rainy(snowy) day fun things we did

*Snickers picnic- cut up a Snickers into small bite size pieces and placed them on a plate. Layed a blanket down in our living room and each got a fork! FUN

*Let the boys pick their own coloring page from online and colored it! (suprisingly entertaining!)

*Let the boys help me grind wheat and put ingredients together for a whole wheat waffle lunch.

*THey are currently sleeping but we will see what the evening brings! :)

Next in line of random topics would be yesterday ( why is yesterday after today? you may ask... well... it just is.)

We LOVE living in this little town with random fun activities. Yesterdays activity of choice was a visit to the American Heritage Center for Baby animal days. It is a small community outside of town that does EVERYTHING the old fashion way. They opened it to the public and let us go around and see how things were done back in the day! They have a slew of baby animals that the kids and go and pet and play with! KASON LOVES ANIMALS!!! he is crazy about them! and was in heaven ... I am sure the animals he chased around thought they were in ..... well somewhere else besides heaven! :)

Pigs, cows, goats, chicks, ducklings, kittens, puppys, foals, sheep, bison, even bears! Here are pictures of a few

Jeremy was in heaven too. He was able to go into an old wood working shop and see how they did it back in the day. He even got to try some of the tools out (sorry no pics)

THere were lines of old old old tractors and Jeremy thoughtfully went through and showed me how each would have worked back then! :) He was in awe!

This last pic is of a man sheering sheep the old fashion way, with SCISSORS!! I couldn't believe it, he told us some interesting facts along the way. Karver is in his usual seat. He sat in the stroller the entire time! :) haha He is soo funny...We had tons of fun!

Anyway! That is all the randomness of today folks.... okay just one more random story..

Yesterday Karver so kindly yelled "MOM! I am going to go PEE!" So... i said "Okay" i hear the bathroom door open and 2 sets of feet pitter patter into the bathroom. I know the second pair of feet i hear are kason's (he is SUPER interested in the potty and potty training may be in the stars soon)... anyway... Kason enjoys watching his brother get the job done.. which is fine since he is learning.... Things were fine untill i hear "KASON MOVE!!!!" I think to myself.. "self, that is probably not a good thing" I ran into the bathroom to see Kason trying to get a REALLY close look.. i mean REALLY close... Karver not being able to control really well simply continues to go.... go... go..on kason's head. I smiled, grabbed Kason and he tried to look at me through the urine dripping down his face, I washed his head off and then said 2 statements I honestly never thought I would have to say. The first being, "Kason, dont stick your head in the toilet or it will get peed on." The second "Karver try not to pee on your brothers head." Wow! Being a parent is so much more fun that I ever imagined! :)

Hope you enjoyed the randomness that is us! :)

Ruth, we had 10 children, and you are right -- we say things we never though we would have to say -- but I don't believe we ever had to say THOSE TWO LINES. Too bad, they are good lines.

What delightful randomness. Your family is filled with so much fun. It was good to talk with you today. We miss you and your men so very much. We would have loved to hear you sing, play and speak in Sacrament meeting.
We love you so.
