SLEEP in heavenly peace!

There has been ALOT of this going on at our house!

It is soo crazy to me because Karver was awake SOO much for a newborn. I remember thinking "people say newborns sleep all the time, ours must be broken." Now i see what people were saying. Kason is a sleepy head! Not to mention yesterday he got a circumcision and so he slept for like 6 hours straight! I was freaking out, this was not in our schedule, and I was hurting from not feeding him for so long. So, out came the trusty old pump! THANK YOU to whoever invented the breastpump! No matter what we did he wouldnt stay awake. I figured it was okay since he had been through something that would drain out even the toughest of men! :) kason took it like a champ!

Things are going great! We are counting down the days for when Karver will get his cast off. I know that when the day does come, he will be weirded out! he has been in his cast for almost 2 months and that is along time when you have only been a live for 2 years!! Thats a huge portion of his life! I know his muscles will be sore and tender. It will take alot of getting used to. He wont walk for a few weeks, but I"m soo excited to be able to hold him again, and have him wrap his little legs and arms around me! I literally dream about it almost every night! I havent been able to pick him up at all for the past week and probably wont be able to for another week or so. I have held him on my lap, but its just not the same. :(

I want to give a HUGE thank you to my mom! She has been here helping not only since we had the baby, but for a few weeks before that also! She has been a huge help. Doing dishes, making dinners, cleaning up, keeping Karver entertained, being Karver's highchair (since he doesnt fit in his any more) reading books, changing diapers and brightening our day! We love you sooo much mom and cant thank you enough for all you have done for us!
